"Juggle"
Born from a loose, spontaneous acrylic underpainting, Juggle quickly found its rhythm as I layered in oil and pastel, weaving structure into the chaos while preserving its playful spirit. White negative space dances through the composition, giving each form room to breathe while amplifying the bold gestures at its core. With its circus-like energy and buoyant movement, the painting feels alive, like colors and shapes are tumbling through the air, always in motion.
This work was one of two created for a client commission, drawing inspiration from my earlier piece Paper Plane. While connected to that origin, Juggle stands on its own as a celebration of balance, energy, and the joyful tension between spontaneity and control.
